[SVDC 442] Mel Gilman in the hospital

Those of you who frequent Pat Smith's Deli in the Village know Mel Gilman.
 Mel attended most of the SVDC meetings.

Mel was stricken ill and entered the hospital on New Years Day with a
perforated colon.  He also has prostate cancer.

Mel is being cared for at the VA Hospital in Menlo Park.  He is very
appreciative of phone calls, so give him a ring if you feel so inclined.

You can reach him at 650.493.5000.  Dial 0 to reach an operator, then ask
for 27546 (he is in Room 321-B).

He hopes to get out by the end of this week.  You can send him a get well
