[SVDC 444] SVDC Meeting Tues. Feb. 9, 8:30-10am Blue Rock Shoot

Hi everyone,
  The entrance sign was passed by the City Council (with thanks to the SVDC for donating it), 6 bids have been received and we are on the road to accomplishment!  If you would like to see the sign please go to our web site, www.saratogavillage.info and click into "About Us" and then the link "SVDC :An Ethos of Contribution."  Colors for the sign are still to be discussed.
   
  There's lots to talk about Tuesday morning.  I have news of a new shop opening (you've got to come to the meeting to hear!).  As you know the City Council has initiated 4 conditional use free allowances and this new place is one of those categories we deemed were needed.  Also news of the beautiful new building that is being constructed where the Chamber used to be.  There is lots to talk about.  
   
   We need to start planning Wine & Wisteria Sunday April 11th.   We also need to get going with ideas for Heritage Day Saturday June 19th.  Love Notes is progressing nicely as is St Paddy's Party Sat. March 13th and the Pet Parade Sat. May 15th.  

The schools are participating with great gusto in Love Notes which is wonderful.  Please take the time to walk along Big Basin to see all the Love Notes on display in the windows. More and more are going up each day.   On Saturday and Sunday February 13th and 14th heart balloons and goodies will be given out in the Village compliments of the SVDC.
