The Saratoga Senior Center has a professional shredding service for the community. The SASCC professional shredding service is open to the public.
Small at home businesses are beginning to use it.
Individuals are beginning to use it.
It is a great service, especially for anyone concerned about identity theft or privacy. It is a great service for anyone tired of the slowness and finickyness of home shredders. It is very convenient. Just drop by the Senior Center when doing errands or going to the Post Office. Bring in your bag of shredables, with or without being weighed. They do have a scale there, too.

14th Annual Saratoga Chamber of Commerce ‘Crab Fest’
Save Saturday February 20 for a fun night of crab, entertainment, a live auction and community spirit.
That’s right, the whole family will enjoy all-you-can-eat cold-cracked Dungeness crab, plus hot pasta, salad, French bread, coffee & soft drinks, ice cream sundaes, and cake. Beer and Cinnabar wine and will be available for purchase. No one will go home hungry or thirsty from this fest!
After you’ve eaten all you can eat there will be a live and silent auction. There will also be music performed by Saratoga’s own Skillet Likkers. All of this will fill the night with excitement, fun and great deals.

The City of Saratoga is looking for commissioners to serve their community. The Heritage Preservation Commission has four seats being vacated. The commission meets the second Tuesday of the month at 8:30 am to 10 am once a month. Traffic Commission has two empty seats. They meet five times a year for a few hours at a time at night. The planning commission also has two seats that need to be filled. More information can be gotten on the City web site,www.saratoga.ca.us. Please consider serving your community on a commission!
