[SVDC 425] Urgent!

Caltrans is reviewing their EIR for Highway 9 coming out of the Village. 

 The environmental plan is on display in the Saratoga Community Center tonight (Jan. 7th) until 8pm.  

The plan shows two retaining walls at two big curves as you go towards Sanborn.  The retaining walls are similar to the one at the top near the summit. 

The purpose of the walls is to improve safety . 

If you would like to speak to them about their plan please do so tonight or go to their web site  at www.dot.ca.gov/dis4/envdocs.htm to read about what they are doing and see pictures of the retaining walls to be put in place.  You may comment on their project until the end of the month.  
 
This is NOT the same project that the City has been working on towards Los Gatos.  This project pertains to Highway 9 going to the summit out of Big Basin in the Village..
