Did You Know . . . . .?
Valentine Day February 14th
This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday! The next time it will return to Sunday, will take 7 long years.
Plan ahead for an exciting weekend in the historic Village of Saratoga.
Make room reservations for Saturday arrival at the “Saratoga Oaks Lodge “ on Big Basin Way, 408-867-3707 , or at the “ Inn at Saratoga Hotel”, 867- 5020, then call” La Mere Michelle Restaurant” 867-5272, just down the street to reserve you table for a romantic first class dining experience.
While you are in Saratoga you may walk up (or drive) to Hakone Gardens to visit authentic Japanese Gardens with its unforgettable natural settings, waterfall and creek. Take a lot of pictures to show your family and friends. They will think you were in Japan for the weekend?
In the evening, at la Mere Michelle, enjoy your favorite cocktail on the Terrace overlooking the street before moving into the elegant dining room for your excellent dinner.
After a great Sunday Brunch at La Mere Michelle, you might spend some time visiting Villa Montalvo or just plain drive around to visit a number of fine Wineries like Cooper-Garrod or Cinnabar Winery.
Oops! There is something wrong! We forgot to say that you must bring your loved one – without her the Valentine day would be just another day.
