The City’s annual Arbor Day celebration is quickly approaching! Arbor Day will be held on April 22, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in Azule Park. 
The event will include light refreshments, live music performed by the Skillet Likkers, a scavenger hunt coordinated by the Youth Commission,
 a ceremonial tree planting, and free compost and other giveaways.

Community Garage Sale – Save the Date!
Mark your calendars! The Saratoga Community Garage Sale has been scheduled for July 31, 2010. 
Registration for sellers will open in late June. Residents will be able to sign up online or pick up a registration form at City offices. 
All registered sale locations will be included in a listing of garage sale locations on the City website.
The event will also be advertised in the Silicon Valley Community Newspapers and San Jose Mercury News classifieds.

The public is invited to a special reception Sunday, March 28 at 1 PM at the Saratoga History Museum (20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road) 
to meet the artists and see the new exhibit:  Saratoga Landmarks: Through an Artist's Eyes. Art comprising the exhibit has been provided by the Saratoga Community of Painters. 
Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit and reception is free.
