[SVDC 506] Our beloved friend Susie.....

Dear friends,
  Our beloved friend and Saratoga City Council member, Susie Nagpal, passed away during the night at Good Samaritan Hospital.  For those  of you who did not know her she was one of those truly special people who are so much nobler than you, so incredibly intelligent and caring, someone who when they come into your life you say thank you because knowing Susie was to know the very best of humanity.  We will miss her horribly.

  The Saratoga City flag has been set at half mast in places throughout the City and there will be a book in the lobby of the Civic Theater starting today at 3 pm for all those who would like to send a condolence to the family or write a memory they have of Susie.  This will be available all weekend.  Please feel free to bring pictures if you would like.  All of this will be presented to the family.

Words cannot express the sorrow we all feel at this news.  It is overwhelming.  As Saratogans we were blessed to have Susie be part of our Planning Commission and City Council for the last seven years. We will treasure her forever. Our deepest love and sympathy go out to her husband Amit, her children, her sister and all her family.     Jill
