My apologies for the discrepancy..Tuesday is the 25th not the 24th.

The City Council has voted on Wednesday night to appoint a person to the City Council at the passing of Susie Nagpal.  Her term has two and one half years left.  Interested persons may pick up an application at the City offices and it must be returned by June 4th at 12 noon.  Interviews of the candidates will be televised.  The City Council vote was 3 to1 with me dissenting.  I felt Saratogans should be able to vote for the replacement person in November.  Details will be in Tuesday's Saratoga News.  Jill
